Is there anything better than acquiring a new pen? If so, I've not found it. I've got a new loaner camera and a new copy of an old book, but enough of this nonsense. I've also got good questions about the current trend in photobooks and the industry changes that have brought on a dearth of navel-gazing, self-absorbed projects created by those with zero training, context, knowledge of photo-history, or ability to think outside the bubble of their own head. And finally, we talk milk-fed veal. I am not here to pretend. I am not here to act, nor will I ever pander to your gullibility or weaknesses. I am here to engage with people who do, not people who only watch. Get out there, jackals.

Over the past fifteen years while working for Blurb, I've worked with some seriously talented creatives. Art directors, editors, illustrators, designers, artists, photographers, and every other flavor. Many were also talented bookmakers, as you would imagine working for a company that prints books.
