You might not need shades, so maybe not THAT bright, but still a glimmer of hope. I wanted to follow up on the archiving thing. Someone reached out, as I knew they would, claiming that archiving was easy peasy. I asked three questions, none of which the person could answer. So, I thought I would ask you the same questions.

These take about an hour and a half. That's all. I don't scroll or do social, so I've got plenty of time. When I was coming up as a photographer, I had all kinds of help. Many of the things I'm discussing here are based on those conversations. Take what you want, pass the rest along.

The name Lake Ontario is more than 400 years old and predates both the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the Canadian Confederation. The name comes from the Wendat (Huron) word Ontari'io. The word translates to "the lake is beautiful, the lake is big". So, don't worry about the name; it goes right back to Lake Ontario, right after the moron goes away. Same for the Gulf of Mexico. Once again, my heart goes out to the people of Nepal, Tibet, and China, and those visiting these places. This is a double whammy. Those visiting these parts tend to be adventurous types who are educated and involved, so especially painful to lose people like this. And the people of Nepal have been through SO much. As have the people of Tibet and China. Let's keep our lives in perspective.

Why am I making these films? No master plan, sorry. Just what I decided to do at the moment. They take less than one hour. From pressing that button via the app to writing this caption. A lunch break, if you will. Some of this information might be useful. And the topics will continue to range across the board. Sure, parts will be photo-heavy, but that's not enough for me. I've got plans and ideas for 2027. Things are beginning to percolate. I'm about to head to a photographer gathering. Wish me luck.

Not only are these solid questions about project photography, but they are also questions I receive regularly. So, thank you! Remember, I am one guy with one opinion. I'm always right, so that might be something to consider, but still, just one hombre. Finally, I get back to some good questions and answers. As I mentioned before, I'm at the center of a communication blizzard, one of my own making. Consequently, I get asked a wide range of "this or that" questions. Some of these questions can be answered with a simple "Yes," or "No," while others require a bit more lift. Also, sometimes the answers we receive make us uncomfortable. This is natural and part of life. Truth will set you free, but first it might rake you over the coals and force you to question your entire existence, but I would rather find myself in a ball, sobbing over my lack of direction, than pretend to live the online lie. Be positive, make good things.
