“A Memory of a Day Gone By”

In the silence of a beautiful memory,

a swing hangs from a great old tree.

Gently swaying with the wind,
as sunlight filters through the leaves to the ground
in soft, dancing patterns of gold.

And she thinks--
ah…
how could such a beautiful place exist in her life?
Because somewhere out there,

so many scenes remain -
undiscovered horizons yet to be seen;
beautiful memories waiting to be found.
