Love that my kids (probably most kids) are constantly creating new things. A painting yesterday, a necklace from a gift ribbon today, an aquarium out of a cardboard box tomorrow. I wish for them that they will never stop creating.

Next month I won't be able to make one of the dates, because I'll be in Berlin for beyond tellerrand (which I am very much looking forward to). But there are still two more Wednesday Heat dates left this year.

I really need to figure out how to get in contact with these wrestlers. That was the only reason I kept my Instagram account for as long as I did. But since it is gone now, I need to find another way.

Wrestling! Went back to wXw Academy today for another "Wednesday Heat" – and this time, I got lots of keepers. Images above are just from the first match! I am back, baby!

Went to Fujikina in Cologne today, where I met up with my dad. I had a great time checking out some Voightländer lenses (although not for Fuji but Leica 🫣) and listening to various talks. My favorites were Stefan Finger, who talked about some of his photo projects, and Joachim Schmeisser, who showed some amazing portraits of African wildlife.

We went to the pumpkin farm very early today. It was pretty packed by the time we were leaving. Always fun for the kids. There were lots of chickens to feed, hay bales to climb, and cake to eat.

Finally, another movie night. We watched Unstoppable. Denzel can't do wrong, although he didn't have that much to work with in this one. We still enjoyed ourselves even despite the pizza arriving when the movie was almost over. 🙂

My trusty everyday carry camera, the X-T5, completely froze this morning. I could still see through the viewfinder but no button presses were working, nor did the shutter. Removing the battery also didn't help! 😱 Only when I ejected both memory cards (and put them back in) did it work normally again. For a moment there, I thought it had died on me. 🥺
