I love 3D printing! Printed myself a few Megadrive cartridge stands thanks to a design from makersworld 👍

New blog is up! All about me trip to LA this week! Grab a coffee and give it a read: https://blog.jam-factory.com/roundup-018-a-visit-to-la/
Had a great day here in LA yesterday: Gave a talk at Media Arts Lab, for to visit Sony Santa Monica games studio and met an old Brit friend for dinner 👏
After playing GTAV for the last 12 years, I feel like I know this place very well already!!
Hello Los Angeles! I’m very excited to be here, giving a creative talk to MediaArts Lab & Apple ❤️
Published a new lil' blog - grab a cuppa and have a read: blog.jam-factory.com/roundup-017/ https://blog.jam-factory.com/roundup-017/
I adorned my 'GNARLYBOT' sculpture for Gromit Unleashed 3 with a whole host of graphics paying homage to some of the great skateboarding graphics of the 70's & 80's! See if you can get all the references...
BroBot! My latest design and 3D print - man I love this thing! It’s making me up my Blender modelling skills too, making sure it’s nice and neat!
3D Printed my own big block-mech-dude over the weekend. Really impressed with this matte black and pink combo! Took a fair few go's getting this printing right, but stoked on the results!
Turnstile’s Glasto set was an absolute banger!! Catch it on iPlayer, well good! ✨⚡️ https://media.tenor.com/v1HCv_7B1dkAAAAC/turnstile-turnstile-love-connection.gif?hh=278&ww=498
Thank god for that. [contains quote post or other embedded content]
A ‘new to #3Dprinting thread’… so we go to our local village summer fair and there’s some kids selling 3D printed trinkets & toys that they printed on their dad’s 3D printer. My kids LOVE it and excitedly spend their allocated £2 on some iridescent optical illusion toy thing…
Stoked to unveil ‘GNARLYBOT’ - my Norbot sculpture for The Grand Appeal’s #gromitunleashed3 charity arts trail! Inspired by the fluro excess of 80’s skate films like ‘Attack’ & ‘Search for Animal Chin’. Find him at Quakers Friars in Cabot Circus, Bristol from June 30th until August 31st!
Best post day ever!! A haul from Unbox Industries 😍 @unboxindustries.bsky.social
Late-night noodling on the KO II, putting a beat together for an upcoming talk!
Last month, after speaking at D&AD Festival, I got to sit down with Creative Editor of The Drum, Mr Tom Banks, and talk about everything from Aardman's charming craft to my own passion projects. Grab a cuppa and have a read right here: https://www.thedrum.com/news/2025/06/12/comedy-character-story-and-craft-why-audiences-and-brands-keep-coming-back-aardman
Sampling Chompi into the KOII for a new beat!
Father’s Day score!
I love this place, it always fills me with joy when you step off at TCR Station. 😍 [contains quote post or other embedded content]
✨I wrote a MEGA blog for Aardman all about how we made 'Wallace & Gromit: Shot on iPhone', a commission from Apple last year that I had the great pride in directing. It's a multimedia extravaganza blog with words, images & videos taking you behind the scenes of how we made it: aard.mn/WGShotoniPhone
Yessss! My own site went through its own grunge period. A mixture of influence from Seven to David Carson 👌 [contains quote post or other embedded content]
I built myself an ‘enclosure’ out of LEGO blocks to house some LED light strips controlled by the Teenage Engineering OP-Z using DMX! No external laptop or anything, this is just the OP-Z with a controller and cables underneath!
Today I am 43 and I got some banging new studio monitors for my b’day! I’ve wanted to make my little musical corner more ‘serious’ for ages and I’m stoked these KRK Classic 5’s help with that!
New weekly round-up blog is live on me site! Grab a cuppa and have a read: https://blog.jam-factory.com/weekly-roundup-015/
I'm really getting excited on the idea of making a hardback art book to celebrate 25 years of making work under the name of Jamfactory. Crowdfunding is currently feeling like the best route for me, as I can combine my love of projects with 'extra' bits like badges, stickers, prints and more!
SIDE PROJECT ALERT! A lil' cheeky teaser for a super fun passion project I'm cooking up with my friend and master of the methodical, Jack Hayward... more soon!
New side project incoming!! Me and my buddy Jack are combining our skills of design + fabrication + love of buttons… stay tuned for more!!
Right then! Pretty damn serious about making a hardback art book to celebrate 25 years of ‘being Jamfactory’ in 2026. Doing some research on formats and sizes of some of my favourite design books. One thing I do know is mine will be neon pink + metallic gold! 👍
I wish I was famous enough to be asked by @letterboxd.social what my four favourites are… “Why yes, thank you for asking; The Fast and the Furious 2 Fast 2 Furious The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift Requiem For A Dream”
Stoked on this! Made a Lego-brick surround for my DMX lights, controlled by the OP-Z! Now the KO II and OP-Z can be synced, I can have a light show whenever I use either of them!! It made me squeak with joy when it all worked!
