✨I wrote a MEGA blog for Aardman all about how we made 'Wallace & Gromit: Shot on iPhone', a commission from Apple last year that I had the great pride in directing. It's a multimedia extravaganza blog with words, images & videos taking you behind the scenes of how we made it: aard.mn/WGShotoniPhone

Yessss! My own site went through its own grunge period. A mixture of influence from Seven to David Carson 👌 [contains quote post or other embedded content]
I built myself an ‘enclosure’ out of LEGO blocks to house some LED light strips controlled by the Teenage Engineering OP-Z using DMX! No external laptop or anything, this is just the OP-Z with a controller and cables underneath!
Today I am 43 and I got some banging new studio monitors for my b’day! I’ve wanted to make my little musical corner more ‘serious’ for ages and I’m stoked these KRK Classic 5’s help with that!

I'm really getting excited on the idea of making a hardback art book to celebrate 25 years of making work under the name of Jamfactory. Crowdfunding is currently feeling like the best route for me, as I can combine my love of projects with 'extra' bits like badges, stickers, prints and more!
SIDE PROJECT ALERT! A lil' cheeky teaser for a super fun passion project I'm cooking up with my friend and master of the methodical, Jack Hayward... more soon!
New side project incoming!! Me and my buddy Jack are combining our skills of design + fabrication + love of buttons… stay tuned for more!!
Right then! Pretty damn serious about making a hardback art book to celebrate 25 years of ‘being Jamfactory’ in 2026. Doing some research on formats and sizes of some of my favourite design books. One thing I do know is mine will be neon pink + metallic gold! 👍
I wish I was famous enough to be asked by @letterboxd.social what my four favourites are… “Why yes, thank you for asking; The Fast and the Furious 2 Fast 2 Furious The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift Requiem For A Dream”
Stoked on this! Made a Lego-brick surround for my DMX lights, controlled by the OP-Z! Now the KO II and OP-Z can be synced, I can have a light show whenever I use either of them!! It made me squeak with joy when it all worked!
Next year I’ll be celebrating 25 years ‘as Jamfactory’, as I first registered my personal portfolio domain of www.jam-factory.com in 2001. I’ve long wanted to make a hardback art book *and* a follow up to my ‘Do Fly’ book so I think I’m just gonna do it myself and see what happens! Watch this space!
Morning all! New Weekly Update blog is live! https://blog.jam-factory.com/weekly-roundup-014/
Heading to London today to give a talk at D&AD festival! I’m so stoked I get the closing slot - 2.40pm on the Queen Elizabeth Hall stage! I’m gonna bring the noise, neon and nonsense! ⚡️💥🎉
Hey internet! I've been working on a mega blog, going behind the scenes of how I made and 'played' the @beyondtellerrand.com titles! Put the kettle on and settle down for a good ol' read: https://blog.jam-factory.com/behind-the-scenes-beyond-tellerrand-2025-title-sequence/

Gonna do my first newsletter publish soon! Those folk subscribed will be first to be notified of when my mega-BTS-blog of how I made the @beyondtellerrand.com titles goes live! blog.jam-factory.com https://blog.jam-factory.com/
This weekend I dived deeper into my love of audio / visual stuff and built a DMX light ‘rig’ out of LEGO bricks! I’m rubbish at this stuff but very much enjoying just finding a way - *any* way - to bring it to life!
I am fully in-love with the new extended version of the latest Linkin Park album, with this track on it. It scratches every itch for me of 2000's-esque riffs, catchy hooks, rad screams and glitchy production. Hell of a comeback too, bravo LP! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jv-laQtaLjE

Here's a bit more BTS of how I played the @beyondtellerrand.com titles [b&w photos by @florianziegler.com]: My Teenage Engineering OP-Z (complete with LEGO surround, for no other reason than I love building silly stuff with bricks) sequencer is sending MIDI signals into Unity on my Mac...
Big thanks to @normanposselt.bsky.social for shooting my portrait at @beyondtellerrand.com! 👁️✋ [contains quote post or other embedded content]
A big fun part of creating the @beyondtellerrand.com titles was sampling my friends and families voices for the names of the different speakers! I ran them through different FX in Ableton, and then loaded them onto the OP-Z so I could integrate them into the music!
Here’s my title sequence for the @beyondtellerrand.com conference! I ‘played’ them live - Designed in Illustrator, split into PNGs, imported into Unity where their size & position is controlled by MIDI signals from the OP-Z that I’m playing on-stage. I made a unique beat for each speaker… [1/2]
I'm a big fan of Florian's photography - his gallery from @beyondtellerrand.com 2025 is *chefs kiss* [contains quote post or other embedded content]
Oh boy, Doom: The Dark Ages looks so damn fun!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZJI-axisl8
I had an absolute blast designing the titles and festival identity for @beyondtellerrand.com! I digged deep into my love and early inspirations of web 1.0 / 00's design aesthetics. I channeled David Carson, DesignisKinky, k10k, Designers Republic and more to make a fun, visuallyOTT set of designs!

Recently, myself and a bunch of wonderful creatives from the world of film, TV and games spoke at @bafta.org about the skills needed for those industries, with those insights aimed at helping young people navigate their early careers. ❤️ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39SpgQx6r1w&ab_channel=YoungBAFTA
