Where did it all go? Every ounce of feeling from my fingertips and toes. The darkness makes room for the twinkle to star. I look up, my smile cast away. Mage, to you, I'm the muse.

This poem is split from an earlier piece I intended to write in two parts. I didn't know then that I'd written both at once.

Okay. I want to call someone out, for being an a-hole. Their writing is impeccable, funny matter-of-fact. But it’s easy to be contrarian when you’re nobody online, hiding behind a mask.
