Wonders of Web Weaving, Episode 20
The twentieth episode of Wonders of Web Weaving is out:
In Episode 20, I chat with Sara, the author of sarajoy.dev and whimsica11y.net, among other things, the importance of web accessibility, screen readers, and the joy of exploring and making things on the web.
I hope you enjoy the episode!
Wonders of Web Weaving also has an RSS feed you can use to follow along from wherever you get your podcasts.

Ahhh, yes. Haven’t seen this in a long time. That’s a mistake. So good from start to finish.

This has been on my mind as well. Wouldn’t it be great if the AI Wild West – especially the open-weight models – got regulated, and there were only a few very responsible, very trustworthy companies allowed to proceed working with this incredibly dangerous technology? Wouldn’t that be great for their future stock prices, too?
Couldn’t agree more to @kevinpowell here. And I’m really sorry for @geoff who is doing such great work at @csstricks. 🧡 What DigitalOcean does here not only sucks – it is also massively damaging their brand reputation in the community. Not cool! 😕👎
I’d still suggest a light EQ dip around 500 Hz and a high shelf boost around 8-10 kHz to help compensate for the Royal Albert Hall’s challenging acoustics and bring the solo violin forward a bit more. 😉

🎻 People of the UK! (And people who know about get_iplayer!) You still have the chance to hear an extraordinary performance of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto by Augustin Hadelich and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded at the Royal Albert Hall and available on BBC Sounds: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0030jmq
