My new host, three months on
It’s now been a bit more than three months since I first opened an account on Hetzner and a week since almost everything (not the DNS for this domain) switched over, so I thought it was a good time to recap.

The unstoppable rise of extra virgin olive oil
The standards for extra virgin olive oil were adopted in 1960, after a decade marred by wholesale adulteration. Today, EVOO is everywhere, transformed from a mark of quality to a mark of little meaning. The terrible frauds have mostly vanished, but all is not rosy.
“I would argue,” says Carl Ipsen, “that a bigger problem today than fraud is transportation and storage.”

Fascinating piece on how to really acquire ...

Gavin Strange celebrates 25 years of creating under the name of Jamfactory. Wow. And Yay!
I’ve been celebrating as of late, as at the start of the month on the 6th February, it was exactly 25 years since first registering my domain name jam-factory.com, which means it’s been a quarter of a century making stuff under the name of “Jamfactory”! Here is the article and the video.
Congrats on 25 year of “making the all the stuff that absolutely no one asked for” my friend!
