Calisthenics, dancing, acroyoga/acrobatics - I cannot stick to one thing, so I do them all
Are you in control
Just walked past Gruga Halle. Hundreds of people are waiting to go inside where apparently some TikTok and YouTube stars will fight each other in a boxing ring? I am happy to report that I don’t know a single one of these “stars”.
This is so well put and ever since having kids, I have described it exactly the same: Your heart now lives outside your body.
Last week, I received a nice comment about my little 35mm Focal Length
Equivalents site (short: FLE). And that was enough motivation to improve
the site. I still had - and still have - ideas to improve the site, and so
I spent some hours to make it a little better.

It’s a space movie. I like space movies. But this is not the best of its genre IMHO. I can’t complain about how it’s made, really. I definitely enjoyed the acting and most of the visuals and sets.
Rocky is very cute and I like how their friendship develops. I found the flashbacks on Earth were a bit too silly. And this could have been shorter. So, this is definitely more on the “light entertainment” side of space movies. I guess I generally prefer my space movies more doomy and gloomy instead.
But was ok overall.

A lovingly made animated film. Not only is Mr. Fox fantastic - everyone is. And so is the story, the sets, the music. And as typical for Mr. Anderson, it sometimes difficult to appreciate all those little details during the first viewing.

But the story is a bit so-so. I found it a little awkward making everyone explain everything all the time. And Mark Watney’s good mood with its constant funny-cool slogans went a little on my nerves (together with the partly cheese music). The final space scene is just bonkers. So: “ok”, I’d say.

This is so absurd, you can not not be entertained. And if you just take Jack Burton’s view and go with it, you can just indulge yourself in this. Chinese clans fighting themselves in back alleys? Sure! Superfighters flying in form the sky? Why not! Cursed villains with superpowers? Ok!? Surprise monster? Ok, what the hell!
It’s a weird Carpenter movie. I liked the old-school-ness of it all. The humour was actually pretty great. But it’s not my favourite from him.

I always love a good band documentary. This pretty much explains, how they made their by far shittiest album. But I really would have liked to know how they landed on the decision about that snare sound.

Ahhh, yes. Haven’t seen this in a long time. That’s a mistake. So good from start to finish.
