Feature request for twitter. I'd like to have a page listing all my tweets today on one page, so I can link to them from my blog. I would like to see twitter go back to its leading role in support of the web.

A Trick-or-Streets FYI

ICYMI: Two neighborhood blocks are getting into the Halloween spirit today with Trick or Streets celebrations.

On Avenue B between Third and Seventh Streets, festivities run from 2:30 to 6 p.m., featuring a photo booth by Kuki Go, musical performances by Guachinangos and Batingua Drum & Dance, games and more.

Meanwhile, Third Street between Avenue A and Avenue B hosts its fifth annual Trick or Streets celebration from 3 to 6 p.m., with car-free trick-or-treating, harvest and Halloween-themed activities for all ages and abilities.

Both events are part of the city's Open Streets program. More details are available at nyc.gov/trickorstreets.

Two new attributes added to the source:inReplyTo element in RSS.chat feeds, feedUrl and feedTitle. These were requested by developers, and they seemed useful and reasonable, so we added them. Still more work to do here in creating a world wide discourse system, not one based on a single central node. RSS has more work to do for us. ;-)

Ex-Meta Researcher Torrented Pirated Books Dataset, Deleted It ‘Due to All This Litigation’

A former Meta researcher has testified that he downloaded an AI training dataset via BitTorrent, including the pirated Books3 collection. According to various rightsholders, this happened while he worked at the company, and he later deleted his copy "[d]ue to all this litigation." Meta, which admitted training AI models on Books3 but said it didn’t believe it torrented the dataset, disputes the researcher’s account.
