ICE Opportunism Expands To Passengers On Domestic Flights

Things used to be normal. We used to be doing alright here in the United States, limiting ourselves to catching people at the borders or picking up migrants with criminal charges or convictions with detainers at local jails. Now, it’s just a constant swarm all day, every day. “Worst of the worst” has long been […]

Anthony Bourdain in 2005: Direct from cassette. “Two hours turned into a highly personal conversation, recorded on a cassette that sat untouched for twenty years. This week, that tape gets its first public airing, and we discuss Tony’s preferred sucker-punch etiquette, his loyalty to cigarettes and the Chateau Marmont, ayahuasca in Peru, and the talk show he dreamed up with Christopher Walken in mind.”

The King Of The Robbers Returns

The King Of The Robbers Returns

The bases are loaded in the bottom of the second. Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor, with his beautiful hair and crisp terrifying swing, is at the plate. The pitch from the Padres' Robbie Ray is a 92 mph sinker that he leaves up on the outer edge of the zone. Lindor stings it to the opposite field, and the ball towers up and out toward the right-field corner, where he is waiting. He is always waiting.

Fernando Tatis Jr., the king of the Robbin' Padres, with his flowing hair and his big face, does not fear the long ball. He is its god. Already, in this game, he has hit a home run, but that does not mean he will allow others the pleasure. No, he is the home run's master. He sees the ball off Lindor's bat threatening to become a grand slam, and he tracks it.

His legs race, his head craned toward the ball, his eyes on it. That is his ball. He knows it.

On the cover of Slam magazine's October 1998 issue, Chamique Holdsclaw wore a New York Knicks jersey, NBA basketball in hand. Right next to the forward from Queens was a sneaky inversion of the more common question: "Is The NBA Ready For Chamique Holdsclaw?" She was the firs...

FL-19 Republican Primary: A Carpetbagging Clown Show

CNN's Dana Bash reviewed the Republican primary in Florida District 19 being held Tuesday night by going through all the candidates, most of whom had been in prison or came from other states, including MAGA creep Madison Cawthorn.

Steve Contorno's article fueled Bash's segment: A ‘clown show’ of carpetbaggers and characters has upended a Republican primary in Trump’s backyard

Madison Cawthorn came from North Carolina.

Chris Collins came from NY and was sentenced to 26 months in jail for his role in an insider trading scheme.

Ola Hawatheh is from New York.

Catalina Lauf is from Illinois.

Jim Oberweiss.

Jim Oberweiss and Catalina ran against each other in Illinois.

Now let's not forget John Strand. He was in prison for what he was convicted of doing on January 6th, 2021.

What a motley and despicable crew.

Every 2028 Campaign Should Study Angie Nixon’s Win

Dan Pfeiffer: “The real story of this race is not Vindman’s failure; it’s Nixon’s success. She is a dynamic candidate who ran on the exact message that has been resonating in Democratic primaries this cycle — a progressive, populist approach focused on lowering prices for working families.” “Nixon, a Black Democrat who joined the DSA […]
