Alyssa Naeher Shoots And Scores, But The Chicago Stars Are Still In The Dark
The injuries came as fast as the goals. One, two, three Chicago Stars players were down and out by the 55th minute of Monday’s match against the Seattle Reign. That moment felt like a low point in what’s already been a dire season for Chicago: second-to-last in the table, a ...

Moguls Moving Money Isn’t the Same as Building a Business

One key point about entrepreneurship (which I covered in my lengthy piece yesterday) is worth amplifying because society is often being lied to about what actually constitutes building a business. Put simply: a person who moves money around is not the same as someone who act...

Alexander Isak Wants The Hell Out Of Newcastle

Alexander Isak Wants The Hell Out Of Newcastle

The Alexander Isak transfer saga has gone public. The Newcastle United striker, one of the world's best at his position, moved to the north of England in 2022, and since his arrival in the Premier League, he's scored 54 goals and helped Newcastle complete its Saudi-funded transformation from relegation threat to regular contender for the Champions League places. But Isak wants out, and he wants out now.

On Tuesday, after about a month of speculation and rumors and transfer denials, Isak took to his personal Instagram and released a statement of the kind that even top players with all of the leverage in the world rarely make:

Here’s How A Man Accidentally Bought 10,400 Greg Briley Rookie Cards

David Garry and his son were making their biggest purchase ever. They just didn’t know how big yet.

David, 43, had gotten back into collecting sports cards in 2020, and 12-year-old Jax was now prime age for the hobby. They’d rip packs of cards and talk about players old and new; Jax, a travel-team baseball player himself, got into players his dad liked in the 1990s. It’s their thing now. Extremely silly mood and admission: I’m mildly annoyed when I see so many others online stressing about changing hosters, tools and more. Completely ridiculous feeling to have, because that doesn’t even affect me at all. It’s not my life, so why am I getting annoyed by others constantly switching up their tools and services and talking about it? It’s just another link to follow, a new look, a new navigation, or them using another software to organize. Whatever, no problem! Some of it is even interesting! So?
