In this August round-up of Lazarus Corporation news we have some new artwork for you, and hints of what's coming soon. First of all there’s a new Badb Catha charcoal drawing by Paul Watson which has just been finished yesterday. It will be going up on sale soon just as soon as he’s figured out how to ship it anywhere. We’re also delighted to bring you news about a new Psychic League for Girls series of paintings by Alice Kemp: the Bruise Lunar Division: nine gently bruising and ballooning lunar manifestations, captured in ink and watercolour on 150gsm recycled cotton rag paper. Each painting measures approx 14.5 x 10.5 cm. These are available to view and purchase from Alice's blog now. Thank you, as always, for supporting independent artists!

News is filtering through of a forthcoming Germseed track due to be released later this year:

LUMB027: VARIOUS ARTISTS - Autumn Blood (Deconstructions), Volume II CD. The follow-up to the long sold out compilation of similar title, from 2009, featuring Sion Orgon, Glass Out, Dereck Higgins, Germseed, Nick Mott, Brian Conniffe, Michel Banabila and others to be confirmed. Due in late 2014. News in due course.

A few updates about the website:

Firstly, we’ve enhanced the Shop pages by adding several small “detail” and “making of” photos to each page - for example here. We hope they will make buying artwork easier!

These additional photos aren’t available if you're viewing the site with a smartphone or small tablet yet - only on larger tablets and laptops/desktops, but we are working on making them available on smaller screens.

Secondly, we’ve added a new Events section to give you forthcoming notice of any events in which artists and writers affiliated with the Lazarus Corporation are taking part.

And finally we’ve added a new gallery for Alice Kemp, detailing her new Doll Portraits. Check it out!

As you’ve probably noticed, the Lazarus Corporation website has been redesigned from the ground up and re-launched today.
