Ricardo is talking about RSC, ‘Really Simple Conversation’, a twist on RSS that started with @Dave who is ‘still diggin’ and others like Ricardo @andysylvester @manton and @johnjohnston who are all forking, expanding and twisting some new worlds.

Those of us living in section ‘4635.0063.2384.0006’ of the internet are very happy..

The original philosophy that Dave espouses will be another post that I will push later. Because as he oft’ reminds .. it is all connected.

@dave That’s right, it’s really designed for long-form blog posts. There would probably need to be something that copied the RSS.chat posts via AT Protocol to Bluesky (or another personal data server).

@dave Maybe. If there was a connection between an RSS.chat post and a Bluesky post, then that could work. It would mean adding some AT Protocol plumbing to RSS.chat, though.

@dave I disagree on the “easy install” part. The rss.chat docs do not say anything about needing to have AWS SES setup to be able to send email to new users. Why is that?

Also .. @manton .. I see you in @dave ‘s RSSCHAT .. any feelings/thoughts abut setting up a MicroBlog server .. open to any and all that are MB Customers?

@dave Yes. I was working on something, and it loaded for a while, so I thought something was wrong and decided to check the status page. There it goes, it is down. So I stopped for now!

📽️ I’d been trying the other series and it really wasn’t working for me - so now watching the prequel because @dave said how much better it was. Jury out for this bear - but I did spend the first episode trying to spot Rhys Ifans and couldn’t. Apparently he’s changed a bit!

@dave I dunno, the Spurs want it too! I think the Knicks are great at closing games and that might be the difference.

3] People typically have more pride in that which they own versus rent. I think this a core tenant of why ‘global town squares’...
