Slow day today after being out for the last couple. Watched some movies with Tabitha for new years and we're all pretty tired today.

Second day in Portsmouth. I bought my clothes for the next year, and we nearly froze.

Second day of mooching around shopping centres. I'm over this now thanks. Give me my sofa back.

We went to meet up with some friends and wander around Westfield today. It was very busy.

Tabitha went to hang out with an old friend from badminton today. We went for a walk by their house.
Pizza Day
It's been ages since I've done pizza; I've been discouraged by how inconsistent dough is.
Game Boy
Dan very thoughtfully got me the LEGO Game Boy for Christmas. It looks so good on my desk.
On beautiful light
Not really feeling the pictures today, which is typical as we had some lovely light.
Ice cream
We drove to Hastings for ice cream. Yes it's far, but this is my favourite ice cream place.
Mud
Forgot to turn my work alarm off. A classic. Took Forest out for a long walk and it was like walking through soup.
Solstice
Apparently today is the winter solstice. I took the dog for an early walk and was treated to this weirdly black-and-white sunrise.
Cool World
First day off of the Christmas period and I have already had an email me asking to do something before Christmas eve. Sigh.
Lights
Nice light day today. And I got to write my out-of-office, which is always nice. Two weeks of Baileys for breakfast.

Tabitha was doing an F1-related art project in acrylic paint. I love acrylic paint.

I like to go and stand on this when the tide's in. Feels like the floor is moving.

The tidiness of my desk is inversely proportional to how chaotic my days have been.

I was taking pictures of our tree, and Friday decided to come and sit majestically, and stare into the light.

I think I've had most, if not all, revisions of the RaspberryPi since it first launched. They all live in drawers somewhere.

I can't tell you how often I drive Tabitha to school, see some beautiful light or something, and it's gone by the time I'm home.

I haven’t done this for a while, but seeing Luke talking about scrobbling and all that made me think about my own listening habits, and before long I had my Plex sqlite database open and was trying to figure out where everything lives.

The new tips on the Airpods are incompatible with my ear. Keep sliding out no matter what size I use.
