Never had a car do this before. I was convinced I was going to miss it because I always miss them (the Golf just went past 66,666, and I noticed on 66,668).

Wanted to get my fixed gear back in action, so got some bar tape, and new pedals are arriving tomorrow. Yes I'm going to get two days out of this.

Went for a little walk with Tabitha and the dog. I love the way these have been grown.

Taking my periodic break from caffeine, so today has been lost to napping and brutal headaches.

Another one where I felt like I didn't really stop all day. Sea looked super calm, and there was so many people around. Really wanted to take more pictures but had the dog so couldn't.

We've got some super nice rooftops/chimneys around here. Which is fortunate because I got nothing else today.

I found some loose-leaf tea. It tastes like murray mints, and it smells amazing.

Carry jump-leads in your car, learn to jump-start it. Learn how to recognise the polarity of your battery. Don't be scared to grab a smoking jump-lead terminal when you realise your mistake. Maybe carry a fire extinguisher too?

Don't feel like you've failed as a person because others were more prepared than you, and they were there to help you out.

Don't resent any and all good luck that comes your way, like you have to earn luck, and if you didn't then you don't deserve it and you shouldn't have got it.

If that's how luck actually worked, this world might be worth living in.

I've got so much to do, and I don't want to do any of it. If you leave things until the last minute, they only take a minute, right?

A very Mondayish Monday. It's so hot in my office.

Charlotte loves IKEA, and the Brighton one is finally opening. Will be nice to not have to go to Croydon or Southampton.

I love Martin Parr. He's the only photographer I can think of that I would happily plagiarise all day every day.
