Today has been wall-to-wall, and I have been thinking about obsolescence and a bunch of other things that swirl around with that.

Repetition
I've walked down here probably in the thousands of times now, and your mood, the light, someone standing there, can make it feel totally different.
Prints
Printing images, like going to the gym, is something I don't naturally prioritise, but I'm always glad I've done it, and always say I should do it more.
January Recap
And, done.
Three hundred and sixty five consecutive days of pictures. Not gonna lie, it feels pretty great to have done it.
When you're right, you're right
This just amused me. Sometimes medium format seems to make anything look good.
Friday's Birthday
It was Friday's fourth birthday. I can't believe she's been with us for nearly four years.
Netball
I've been to see Tabitha play netball at school a few weeks in a row, and today my efforts were rewarded: the weather was beautiful!
Flood
Went to Dan's to work today. There's always something weird about the roads when I go to work there. Today: flooding.
abxylute
The latest stop on my quest to find the ultimate solution for handheld retro gaming.
Vein
Last U15's badminton match of the season. It's only been 5 weekends this year but it always feels like so much more!
Bubble tea
Charlotte and Tabitha are obsessed with Too Good to Go. I suppose there's worse things to be obsessed with.
Drove past A Fence field just now, and there's a tractor taking it away.

A Fence
It's not an actively-held opinion or anything, but I've always felt like still life photography is a bit of a cop-out. Your subject just sits there, patiently, you point your camera, take your picture, and that's it.
Rain
First phone photo in ages, but my bag was in the boot with my camera in it 🤦♂️
Snowdrop
I'm sure I say this every year but it can't be true every year. It feels early for snowdrops. I love snowdrops.
Three's Company
Walked the dog to the seafront this morning and was treated to these delightfully lairy seagulls on the cliff face.
Sven sent me a video this morning. Coincidentally it's a video that YouTube has wanted me to...
Walk to the wall
Charlotte's parents took the dog for a walk so we went for an extremely rare dog-less walk. It was nice.
Separate
I need to find a way to be more varied with drone photos. All mine always look the same. The camera on the mini 3 is pretty poor as well.
Blacksmithing
Dan and I did a blacksmithing course with Thomas Gontar, and it was a lot of fun. Even the blisters and dead arms.
Opportunity
Sometimes, my only opportunity to take a photo outside is when I'm walking the dog. That's extremely limiting.
Handsome boy
But don't let that fool you; he's evil really.
Late snack
I was sitting on the sofa last night and my stomach was grumbling so much that Charlotte told me to go and get something to eat.
New sofa day!
We got a new sofa. I love it.
Rough
Sometimes it occurs to me that I haven't seen the sea for a while, and then I pin all hopes of raising my mood on looking at water.
Some light
I got nothing for today. Had a headache all day, had an idea for how to visualise that, failed and just shot any old thing.
Sunday
I've been freezing, and in a disgusting mood since I woke up this morning. Not a great combo.
Under the bridge
Tabitha had a badminton match in Chelmsford again today, so I was back at the nature reserve for a while.
Nose
Of course, one way to look at this is that it's two cat pictures within three days, and that's valid.
