We’ve started adding author pages to the web, and via the books API. The book list is a little jumbled right now for an author that has many editions of their books. We’ll clean that up in the future.

Minor update to Micro.blog’s design on the web, tightening the sidebar and headers, and improving dark mode in a few places.

We’ve fixed some important bugs with buttons on Android. Update to 3.0.1 to get the latest version.

Fixed some spacing issues in the Bookmarks section for Mac, iOS, and Android apps. Less cramped now with the “reader” links and summaries, for archived pages available in Micro.blog Premium.

Improved the web bookshelves layout on mobile and small screens. Added a popup menu to switch between the current bookshelf.

We’ve released a big update to Micro.blog for Android, version 3.0, improving a bunch of things across the app including Markdown highlighting when writing posts. Download it in Google Play.

There’s an update to Micro.blog for iOS available with bug fixes to the timeline getting stuck, and other fixes. Update to the latest in the App Store.

Fixed color issues with code blocks in the timeline.

LinkedIn cross-posting has been updated with uploading the first photo in a post and more reliable auth that won’t need resetting.

For Mastodon servers that have configured a higher max post length than the default 500 characters, Micro.blog cross-posting will now try to send more of the text to those servers.

We’ve released a bug fix update to Micro.blog for iOS, fixing an issue with the editing toolbar getting covered by the keyboard after attaching a photo to a new post.

There are many unused accounts in Micro.blog. Some people just didn’t get around to blogging, and some potential spammers who created accounts but couldn’t post. We plan to slowly delete these old accounts to make things faster for active users. Accounts will be emailed first, 5 days before cleanup.

Micro.blog for Mac has been updated with new keyboard shortcuts and bookmarking fixes. “Check for Updates” on the Mac to get the latest version.

Epilogue for Android has been updated to 2.3.1, fixing scrolling for longer text in the new post screen and improving accessibility.

Released a bug fix update to Micro.blog for Mac, fixing a crash on Intel-based Macs.

There was a problem overnight with some uploads taking too long to go to our CDN, which could lead to broken images in some parts of Micro.blog. Everything back to normal now.
