I lucked out and got tickets to go and see James Acaster this evening. The show was a very welcome return to form.

Charlotte and I took the dog for a walk at lunch. The sea was so rough.

Florian recommended me to Hyde for his series Over/Under, which was very nice of him. I love the concept of this, and I love answering this sort of thing.

Strongly agree with this. It's quite strange; I don't feel this way about anything else I do. Photography, gaming, badminton, even cycling in general don't trigger that for me, but I love seeing people ride fixed gear.

fzf is one of those pieces of software that I've had installed for years, but I don't really use it. I know how good it is, but I just absent-mindedly used it for something so useful that I think I accidentally just made something I find extremely tedious, incredibly trivial.

Charlotte and I went to see (hed) p.e., Spineshank, and Drowning Pool at Chalk. We left after Spineshank.

We went to IKEA because they have a hotdog that Charlotte wanted to try. It did not look appetising.

Tabitha played her first U15 match for Sussex today.

Tabitha is enjoying art at school. To be fair she's always enjoyed drawing at home, I just didn't expect she'd enjoy the more rigid structure that comes with learning it.

I really liked this photo this morning, but now I don't and I'm not changing it. Maybe in two months I'll like it.

There is supposed to be a meteor shower this evening. Clouds blew in with comic timing.

I've had a loud day today. Lots of noise. Some good, some bad. Some audible, some metaphorical.

There's a guy who lives near us, who's had two really old Rovers parked outside for ages. Today there was a new car.

Went out on the bike whilst Tabitha was playing badminton. My stamina is atrocious, but I had a lovely time and now I feel great!

Brutal day for me, and Tabitha had a hockey tournament. A cat is the solution!

I think we got about 50cm of rain overnight. Did not expect the weather to be this nice today.

Tabitha played in the Sussex restricted yesterday. I helped getting players where they needed to be. Long day.
