I lucked out and got tickets to go and see James Acaster this evening. The show was a very welcome return to form.

Wave
Charlotte and I took the dog for a walk at lunch. The sea was so rough.

Florian recommended me to Hyde for his series Over/Under, which was very nice of him. I love the concept of this, and I love answering this sort of thing.
Whenever I come across someone riding a fixie, I feel a connection with them as if we are part of the same group.
Strongly agree with this. It's quite strange; I don't feel this way about anything else I do. Photography, gaming, badminton, even cycling in general don't trigger that for me, but I love seeing people ride fixed gear.
Don’t be lazy, and make your own ones.
Now I really want to do this, but I probably shouldn't.
I've been using fzf all wrong
fzf is one of those pieces of software that I've had installed for years, but I don't really use it. I know how good it is, but I just absent-mindedly used it for something so useful that I think I accidentally just made something I find extremely tedious, incredibly trivial.
Morning cuddle
Sometimes this dog is so full of love. I know he wants to be good, but he's too drawn to being annoying.
(hed) p.e. at Chalk
Charlotte and I went to see (hed) p.e., Spineshank, and Drowning Pool at Chalk. We left after Spineshank.
Cinema
I would like to propose a concept: the cinema license. It would get you into specific license-holder screenings of films.
Resident Annual Launch Party
Tonight was the Annual launch party. Was looking forward to this, for no other reason than not knowing what it was going to be!
Sweets
Charlotte got me some sweets to have after badminton. I learned it's too cold for sweets.
Ominous
Crows on what looks like a wrought iron weather vane, atop a church? That's ominous.
Sick day
I have been ill today. Couldn't even drag myself to my desk. Went for some fresh air and to get any old photo for the day.
A revolting hotdog
We went to IKEA because they have a hotdog that Charlotte wanted to try. It did not look appetising.
Chelmsford, Essex
Tabitha played her first U15 match for Sussex today.
Art Supplies
Tabitha is enjoying art at school. To be fair she's always enjoyed drawing at home, I just didn't expect she'd enjoy the more rigid structure that comes with learning it.
Silhouette
I really liked this photo this morning, but now I don't and I'm not changing it. Maybe in two months I'll like it.
Stars
There is supposed to be a meteor shower this evening. Clouds blew in with comic timing.
Loud
I've had a loud day today. Lots of noise. Some good, some bad. Some audible, some metaphorical.
Wheel
There's a guy who lives near us, who's had two really old Rovers parked outside for ages. Today there was a new car.
Morning Ride
Went out on the bike whilst Tabitha was playing badminton. My stamina is atrocious, but I had a lovely time and now I feel great!
Ominous
Birds just look really ominous sometimes don't they?
Climb
There's a button on my camera, that if you press it and hold it, it disables a bunch of the other buttons.
Always working
Had to do some out-of-hours whilst Tabitha was at badminton.
A long day
Brutal day for me, and Tabitha had a hockey tournament. A cat is the solution!
Benson Boone at O2 Arena
This is the most-attended, and most-expensive show I've ever been to.
Cute Little Fox at Brighton Station Car Park
Luckily for me, we saw this friendly fox whilst we were walking to the car.
Reflected
I think we got about 50cm of rain overnight. Did not expect the weather to be this nice today.
Restricted
Tabitha played in the Sussex restricted yesterday. I helped getting players where they needed to be. Long day.
October Recap
Crisps
France sure produces lots of different types of crisps.
Sainsbury's Pups in Blankets
Feeling super lethargic today so it's time for another pigs-in-blankets rating.
