There's too many shitty and pointless apps (I'm looking at you Costco, Safeway, and basically every other store app) and I'd love to see them go away. I made this damn thing work as a PWA (as much as iOS will allow, anyway) with next to no work. Stupid marketing departments, stop wasting money on apps, and waste less money on websites that work great on desktop, mobile, and everywhere in between. It's not hard.
