This infrared heater on the roof is doing exactly what I wanted it to do! Perfect for the chilly nights!

She doesn't seem to care there is a pizza on her
The giant backup battery for the house arrived! It weighs almost 100 pounds. Now I just need to make some cables to attach it to the house power inlet!
I decided today would be a good day to hang the vertical monitor that will eventually be the home automation dashboard. I found a monitor that fills the available space. Next I need to get an HDMI over ethernet extender so I don't have to put a raspberry pi on the wall.
Cleaned up and did the first side of the Rubio Monocoat for the live edge slab! I think it turned out pretty good!
We did the top side coat of Rubio Monocoat today! Looks so good! 💯
Made a bunch of salsa with the CSA tomatoes and peppers!
First dip in the tub now that it's actually hot

Today is mini split day! They are starting to put in all the mini splits for the units!
Worked on a bunch of house projects today! Finished tidying up the low voltage panels for Units A and B Fixed the electronic door latch for Unit A Installed a new camera facing the street to watch for delivery vehicles and such Terminated the network jack at the hot tub Prepped a bunch of the hot tub wiring and started draining it
Got the hot tub up and running!
Today I prepped for the drywall crew to come and patch up the walls in the utility closet. I moved the network wires inside the wall to a new location so there will be less exposed wires in the inside, and also moved the fiber cable into the ceiling so it isn't awkwardly draped through the room.
Unsurprisingly, it took me literally all day to get the network closet back up and running! But this time it is much more neatly organized. I added a 12-port patch panel in the corner that all the building runs terminate into. Half of these were from the 2019 studio buildout, the other half I've added over the years, with pretty messy cable runs through the space. Now they are all neatly tucked inside the wall and terminated into this patch panel! I then started rebuilding the rack, and made custom length cables for the 12 connections. One end is an rj45 jack, the other end is a keystone connector for the rack patch panel. By the end of the day I was able to get all the gear back in the rack! I know it still looks a bit messy but believe me this is far better than it was before I started this!
