For Mastodon servers that have configured a higher max post length than the default 500 characters, Micro.blog cross-posting will now try to send more of the text to those servers.

There are many unused accounts in Micro.blog. Some people just didn’t get around to blogging, and some potential spammers who created accounts but couldn’t post. We plan to slowly delete these old accounts to make things faster for active users. Accounts will be emailed first, 5 days before cleanup.

Released a bug fix update to Micro.blog for Mac, fixing a crash on Intel-based Macs.

There was a problem overnight with some uploads taking too long to go to our CDN, which could lead to broken images in some parts of Micro.blog. Everything back to normal now.
