My haul for the bike move this weekend!
I hauled 200 pounds of quartz slab 10 miles on my bicycle from the slab yard today.
This is for the countertop for the short cabinets in the bedroom closet, under the fold down ironing board. This scrap was $60, but they almost didn’t let me leave with it on my trailer. I had to sign a thing that said I understand how heavy it is and I am taking responsibility for transporting it 😂
In two weeks I'll be speaking at the MCP Dev Summit in San Francisco! It's going to be a great day packed with back to back sessions.
In less than a year, the MCP project has quickly reshaped how developers are building AI agents. My talk, "Intro to OAuth for MCP Servers", will cover the basics of the new MCP authorization protocol and set the stage for building secure MCP servers.

The crew installed the antenna tower on the roof today and ran the conduit into the cabinet inside! I can't wait til I can start loading it up with gear!
a few minutes with the 3D printer and I printed a replacement for the plastic part that broke off the waffle iron handle! Saved me $20 for the replacement part since I apparently voided the warranty by taking off the handle to see what was broken. 😅 This is why I have a 3D printer!
This Ikea drain is clever, it means you can have a full depth drawer under the sink, but it gets clogged up so fast. There's a reason sinks don't have 90 degree turns in their drains. The U bend had some junk in it, but the straight part between the 90 degree turns was full of the most foul looking goo I've ever seen. At least it's clean now and draining fast again.
It works! I spent the morning on the final touches of replacing the guts of the iMac with an HDMI monitor. I made a mount for the monitor buttons to be accessible at the bottom of the iMac, and even hardwired the iMac power button into the monitor button controller! This is definitely not a high quality LCD panel, but it's still a lot better quality than the original one in the iMac.
Just a regular day of catching up on meetings and work with the cats.
