A mixed bag
Way above average number of photo opportunities today. One I really wish I'd had the confidence to do better than I did.
Headache
My least favourite after a super intense headache, is feeling woozy the next day. Doesn't feel fair.
Pizza
I wasn't going to do a pizza photo but got the most brutal headache and I'm not going looking for another photo.
Blackberry nerd
Went to our village fare, got a Tiffany charm bracelet, went blackberry picking.

July felt very long, and not in a bad way for once!

The way "multi-tasking" works on the public betas of iPad OS 26 is extremely unintuitive.
Stairs
Slow photo day. Spent the day doing pretty exclusively non-photography-related things, which was nice then stressful.

My extremely disturbed sleep on Sunday night caught up with me this afternoon. Barely had the energy to fetch myself a cookie. Powered through though.
Reset
Woke up at 2:30am with the worst acid reflux of my life, coughed for about half an hour - nearly called an ambulance. Absolutely terrifying, and exactly what I needed.
Tomorrow
Filler picture. One of the worst days in recent memory. I have never looked forward to Monday before.

I've had this link open to read for ages, but I've been in an accumulating mood and hadn't read it. It's a simple interview format asking, almost exclusively, the sort of questions I want answering about why and how people blog. So, I should have read it sooner.
I was scanning the list of other people who've been interviewed and noticed my friend Seth on there, so that was the obvious one to read next. Towards the end he mentions me, which was, frankly, a huge surprise. I think I can safely say that I have never been mentioned in the same breath as Daring Fireball, Swiss Miss, and Seth Godin before. I'm not normally one to retweet my own praise but this was so lovely to read that I wanted to note it. Thank you, Seth; that's really brightened my day.
