I don't know why, in my head, photos I take when walking the dog are any more interesting than the ones I take sitting at my desk.

I've wanted to take this picture for ages but the framing of the chimney on this wall has never been quite right.

I've had this link open to read for ages, but I've been in an accumulating mood and hadn't read it. It's a simple interview format asking, almost exclusively, the sort of questions I want answering about why and how people blog. So, I should have read it sooner.

I was scanning the list of other people who've been interviewed and noticed my friend Seth on there, so that was the obvious one to read next. Towards the end he mentions me, which was, frankly, a huge surprise. I think I can safely say that I have never been mentioned in the same breath as Daring Fireball, Swiss Miss, and Seth Godin before. I'm not normally one to retweet my own praise but this was so lovely to read that I wanted to note it. Thank you, Seth; that's really brightened my day.

The weekend finally arrived, and F1 Fwiends travelled to Silverstone for the 2025 GP, and the 75th anniversary of the sport. Pretty big weekend, to be honest.

Super busy again today, but got loads done ahead of my long weekend.

Went for a little wander and saw this cute little robin (at least I think it's a robin) wandering around. Super tame, too. Took this on a 28mm prime - the little thing let me get up super close.

My mum's down to visit, and we drove around all day doing nice things. I ate too much curry for lunch and felt horrible all afternoon. How do I still have no "stop eating" impulse.

New site went live today, and I had to get Tabitha from school early as she got back from her residential trip.

It was Tabitha's school sports day yesterday (Saturday. I know!). It was a very hot and very long day.

Tabitha did a charity abseil with school, then Charlotte and I went to lunch.
