Manu reached out to me to be a part of his People and Blogs series which I was very excited, if somewhat intimidated, to participate in. There have been so many amazing people interviewed so far and I was really thankful to be considered. You can...

Rewatched Tomorrowland, 2015 - β β β
This post is my entry for this months IndieWeb Movie Club hosted by Tantek. There's a moment where Hugh Laurie's character is talking about the state of things and how people are taking the message that is supposed to make them scared and instead...
Watched Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, 2025 - β β β Β½
I'm happy I got to watch this so close after watching MI: Dead Reckoning. This film just puts the previous one in a weird spot since, other than introducing two characters and the evil AI, you could skip "Part One" and still get most of the...
I've fully moved to my new webmention receiver. Similar to my micropub endpoint, it is setup to run with Netlify functions so it is β¨serverlessβ¨. If you'd like to help me test it, please send a webmention so I can fix what's broken.

I need to figure out a solution to replace my TV's built-in options that have stopped working. I just need some time to do this.

Rewatched Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, 2023 - β β β Β½
Not sure when I'll watch part 2 but I couldnt remember the plot of this one so I thought I was due a rewatch. I think its still a fun action movie with some very Mission Impossible moments. In the end it feels like its missing something and doesnt...

Watched The Ballad of Wallis Island, 2025 - β β β β
Oh boy. I was not ready for this today. Spoiler warning: There was a great moment where Akemnji Ndifornyen's character has words with one of the leads. It's such a refreshing moment in what in a worse film would've led to a much different outcome.

Watched Captain America: Brave New World, 2025 - β β β
It was fine? I enjoyed the show more. This is a Captain America movie and it should focus on him more. I know it's the theme of these movies now but the MCU seems to be focus on the grand storyline rather than the characters. Anthony Mackie is doing...

Bookmarked "Recreating Joey's Gibson Virus on a Vintage PowerBook - Simone's Blog"
One day I'll build a replica of Cereal's laptop that Joey uses while Hacking the Gibson. And when I do, it'll run this.
Joe made this and I thought it would be great as a sticker so I printed it.

Rewatched Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, 2005 - β β β Β½
This was the only movie of the saga that I had not seen in theaters. I almost cried when Hayden Christensen showed up on screen to intro the 20th Anniversary release.

So many important points here but I take this one to heart: If your page is doing what you want it to, thatβs already a win! Front End Study Hall is a great time and I encourage everyone to attend. Congrats on a year of FrESH Joe!
