L crafted a Mario-themed „bowling game“ today.
Speeding through the city on my bicycle to the Baumarkt and the Supermarkt. 🚴 💨
I always want to track the bicycle rides with my Garmin watch and then forget, took this photo as I was trying to setup the tracking mid-way to the hardware store.
At the gym this morning, nothing else happened today so far and I'm fine with that.
Setup some of the last missing furniture today. Now the move is really close to being done.
Very grey day today, so I didn’t take any photos except for this one.
Keeping it simple today. 🐝
Late evening walk across the fields. Love living in a small town again. 🥰✨
Going everywhere by bicycle and I'm here for it.
Not even a fancy one, just a regular good ol' second (or third) hand bike.
Saw a Crane(?) today.
Glad I had my Fujifilm X30 with me, one of my favorite cameras for it's very compact and light, yet takes good pictures. Also great for street photography! At the time I got this camera because the X100 was too expansive for me (costing round about 1000 EUR at the time - the X30 cost around 500 EUR!). Looking back I'm very glad I got the X30 instead!
This photo was slightly edited with RapidRaw which I'm testing at the moment.
Trying some new in-camera presets. Still not entirely happy yet. These photos were taken at f/4 with the Fujifilm 16-80mm f/4 - when I look at them it feels more like a f/2 given the huge unfocused area.
I was looking at a video regarding Fujifilm recipes and it mentioned firmware updates so I checked and both my cameras were a few versions behind - and my lens was super behind! What a world we live in where a lens gets a firmware update 😅

Very unhappy with my camera settings and editing setup at the moment. Maybe I'll do some Black & White again until I have things figured out.
Spent yesterday and today charging all the batteries I have for my Fujifilm X-Pro1. For the longest time I only had three, but then Tanja sent me her leftover batteries since she no longer needed them - and now I have six! It's more than I ever need to be fair, the Patona ones are quite good and easily last a day of shooting, at least for me. Even more with the daily pics I take.
In the new home, we have an Apple Tree in the garden. I'm not sure yet if they're regular, eatable apples, but if they are I'm looking forward to eating some - and baking some Apfelstrudel.
Cookbooks and a plant. 🪴
Most of our cookbooks are from Jamie Oliver. Big fan. 🧑🍳 As a photographer I'm also a big fan of the photos in each book - especially "Jamie's Kochschule" which contains a lot of photographs of people around the UK who cooked some of the meals from the book.
Our newest book is „Island Vegan“ by Lloyd Rose - a vegan twist on classic Caribbean dishes. We haven’t cooked anything yet but all the dishes look very delicious and we’re excited to try them.
Connected the home network today. 🛜
We got ethernet ports in every room which is quite nice. It allows us to plugin devices via RJ45 cables directly, and also allows us to connect WiFi repeaters via cable so they do not have to rely on WiFi connectivity themselves for repeating.
Observing flower reflections. Slow day today, only work and I didn’t get out so I didn’t see anything interesting.
All my cameras survived the moving! I’m especially excited to take some medium format analog photos with my Revue 6x6 Twin-Lens Reflex camera!
The Revue 6x6 is a rebranded Seagull 4A TLR camera sold by the German mail order store Foto-Quelle. There's also a medium format SLR camera called Revue 6x6 which is a rebranded Salyut camera, which is a USSR made Hasselblad "clone".
Set up some shelves today. Really not my type of work; I’m glad they’re aligned mostly!
We’ve made some good progress but there’s still a lot to do.
I’m also back working, now fully remote again. 🧑💻
Books. So many books!
This picture shows only a few, in total we have hundreds, I estimate somewhere between 500-600 but I never counted.
We already gave away and sold lots of books but there’s still so many. Love to see it. 🥰
Boxes inside boxes…
Things are starting to look good. We’ve already unpacked a lot of boxes, and some of the bigger furniture has been build up.
It’s starting to look more and more like a home. 🏠

Things I underestimated: the amount of packaging! With over 100 moving boxes and some new furniture we’re drowning in paper right now.

The foreseeable future will be moving-related pictures.
Still a ton of stuff to do, and Monday I’m back at work - although working from home again now.
We moved. 📦 Half across the country. Everything is full of unbuilt furniture and moving boxes.
I am incredibly happy (and exhausted).

The tiniest curb.
Seeing everything in bloom again gives me life. 😌
Lawnmower robot crossing! ⚠️
Funny sign I found today.
