The music section for the most part now features the Bandcamp embed instead of the one from Spotify. I find this to be much better, because you can listen to a whole album, even without account. And I actually prefer Bandcamp and have been using it more and more lately.

The "Skip Intro" button first got introduced to us through Netflix in 2017, and, I know, a lot of people use it – including me. But, if I can get into old-man, back-in-my-day mode for a second, I have so much fondness for the opening theme music for so many shows. ...

🎬 Rear Window

Movie poster for “Rear Window”.

Haven’t seen this in a long time. Was inspired to rewatch it by apodcast episode about it. Again liked it a lot. It’s remarkable, howwell this has aged in my opinion. The dialogue, the filming; thesupposed crime is actually pretty violent (you don’t see it, but theytalk about it). It’s an all around well-rounded affair. And it'sprobably worth another rewatch given all the little details in it.

Not Jarmusch’s best film, but entertaining none the less. RobertoBenigni was the best in this one.

🎧 Mutants – Mutoid Man

Their new album. This band really became a favourite during the last year or so. This output again immediately puts a smile on my face. So much fun playing and singing going on. An authentic sound. So good. Need to see them live!

🎧 Bloodmoon: I – Converge

It’s not far from Mutoid Man to Converge. And then their latest album is a collaboration with Chelsea Wolfe!? Sign me up! This seems to be atypical, but I like this a lot. A great album front to back!

Right to be Forgotten

In online news, stories live forever. The tipsy photograph of you at the college football game? It’s there. That news article about the political rally you were marching at? It’s there. A charge for driving under the influence? That’s there, too. But what if... it wasn’t? Se...

It can be hard to be in a band, or really, in any kind of group where there’s creative collaboration, and you’re supposed to act like it's a democracy. Because what do you do with an idea that you love, if nobody else believes in it? That question is a big part of this episo...
