I didnât think I could relate to an Octopus so much. This film is a wonderful documentary about a remarkable and almost tragic relationship between a man and an octopus. Amazing footage, brilliantly told.

Man! Whatâs this? Some Blackened DeathânâRoll Hardcore? Itâs definitely fun. Very aggressive with a lot of groovy breakdowns. If you dig the first 20 seconds of this album as much as I do, I guarantee youâll enjoy the rest, too!
Heavy breathing? Heavy rotation!

What a trip! Itâs quite the (shocking) story. And both the plot and action are brutal and certainly not for everybody. And itâs occasionally even funny, too. I donât know. Itâs unique. In a good way. And was a welcome change from all the hollywood-y movies one consumes.

An almost three hours long interview. Highly recommended, if youâre a Tarantino fan. The last 45 minutes or so could be safely skipped, though, unless youâre much into Bruce Lee and some legal controversy surrounding scripts for some film and/or series (yawn).

The song "Surrender" by Cheap Trick was released in 1978. Rolling Stone called it the ultimate 70s teen anthem, and included it in their list of the greatest songs of all time. Itâs been in a bunch of movies and tv showsâincluding South Park, Scrubs, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, New Girl, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Cheap Trick formed in Rockford, Illinois in 1973. Theyâve released 20 studio albums, theyâve sold over 20 million records, and in 2016 they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Rick Nielsen is the guitarist in the band. He wrote âSurrender,â and for this episode, I talked to him about how the song was made.

I have been listening to this atmospheric and progressive album quite a bit recently. The highlight might be âDevonian: Nascentâ just because Katatoniaâs Jonas Renkse sings on this one.

Okay. The whole setup and plot was actually quite good and promising. And I found the scary scenes to be quite good, too. But as much as this film spent on story, atmosphere and setup, just as little was spent on explaining everything (almost anything). So in the end I found this a bit disappointing.

A movie I could watch again. You never quite know whatâs real and what isnât or wasnât. Throw in some uncomfortable dialogues, manipulative behaviour and great acting, and you have an interesting watch.

Got our first COVID-19 vaccine shot (BioNTech/Pfizer) yesterday. Having a bit of a sore upper arm, but thatâs it for side-effects so far.
Weâll get the seconds dose in four weeks, and so should be âfully vaccinatedâ by September.
