It was an errand-based trip for @hellokellykuhl and me more than anything. But that doesn’t mean it was drudgery. It was productive, memory-stimulating, and loving. We watched Sandra Bullock movies with Kelly’s daughter who has it together in ways I certainly didn’t at that age. She was a terrific host. Five stars. A good time was had by all. Plus a little free zoo time at the end.
Linocut a stamp for my logo
You know this scenario: The printer says that ink is empty and then you take out the ink and there's still plenty in there. A while ago I started keeping the old cartridges, in case there's something I could use them for later.
One idea was to use the old printer ink as a pad for a stamp of my logo. So when I met my friend who once made a linocut print of a bat that looked soo sick I asked her where to get stuff like that because I never did that before (except I think at school when I was 14) and she even bought me these 17€ tools because I was too stingy.
Shout-out to Maxime ily <3

Chicago is amazing for a lot of reasons but among the wildest is Portillo’s sells a chocolate shake with a piece of chocolate cake blended into it. It should not be drinkable but it somehow is.

Chicago trip. Productive, fun, delicious, charming, funny. There’s rain and no ocean and no waves but it’s nice, regardless.
Beginnings (type-written)
I purchased a Royal typewriter from a charity shop today. When I got home, I was delighted to find that there was ink ready to use. Shortly thereafter, I started writing.
Typewriters and labyrinths
Last sunday, I’ve been out photographing with Florian again. We went to the MüGa park in Mülheim. He has the pictures:
I’ve added a field of view value and more formats – 16mm, Super 16, APS-H and 70mm/IMAX – to my 35mm equivalent focal length tool.
