Tried Nordic walking for the first time at a 5km walkathon and feeling a sense of accomplishment as I add another item to my plumbing DIY achievement list.
My RSS feeds now contain content:encoded and source:markdown. These are used by some feed readers to show the full content, which means my posts are now fully readable through RSS.
One of the hard problems of moving website hosts is to know which version you are actually being served. This post will only be on Hetzner.
And it worked. I still have a fair bit of tidying up to do, but the basics are all done. All of my sites are now hosted in Europe and one immediate benefit became clear yesterday morning. My monthly bill from Amazon AWS dropped from around $40 to under $1.00. So far, then, I am quids in.

Love a good overlapping episodes film. Really well done here. It's scary, evil, creepy, suspenseful and manages to keep you hooked and waiting for more the entire time. I'm not quite sure yet how I liked some of the humorous and excessively gory parts; I'm not sure, if a more toned down approach would have served the atmosphere a little better. But overall, two hours very well spent!

Lying here somewhat stunned by Ian McEwan’s What We Can Know. Such a perfect novel, so finely constructed, and in the end so deeply satisfying. A glorious read.
