I'm looking at two different crochet patterns for the same basic object. There is a long series of decreasing rows. One pattern says to decrease by 4 stitches in the row, then do a row with no decrease. The other says to decrease by two stitches in each row.
I am wondering whether they would look at all different.

I used to be a bit sniffy about the mezzaluna. I mean, what’s the point of a tool that can do only one thing. A year ago, I succumbed, in a hardware store from heaven, and now I am a total convert.
