I’m getting very fed up with the fact that every time there is a powercut, my router reassigns IPs, especially to the Pi is use for pi-hole. It is a Fastgate router, supplied by my ISP, Fastweb, and although I have looked everywhere, I cannot see how to assign IPs permanently. Is there a way? Would some extra equipment help?
Attention: Fake Reminders Regarding the Renewal of Trademark Rights
10 years after you registered a trademark in Germany, you have to renew it, if you want, otherwise the copyright ends after the period you paid for. Well, next to the “Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt) other people want to make money of it and remind you, that your trademark ends soon.

I guess they would also renew your trademark, but they charge €1300 and more instead of €750 which you have to pay for the Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt.
Therefore: be careful when you receive a letter by “DMSV Deutsche Markenschutzverlängerung UG” which looks real, but is a service provider trying to scam you, charging literally €550 for what you can do for free.

⇾ The Last Days of Social Media
The last days of social media might be the first days of something more human: a web that remembers why we came online in the first place — not to be harvested but to be heard, not to go viral but to find our people, not to scroll but to connect.

A computer that's just a keyboard, no screen
Oh you mean like with audio output instead
Nope. No output at all. Just input. With the keyboard.
Why
Short answer: why not?
Long answer: James floated this idea at IWC/BTconf of a PC that's just a keyboard for taking notes; and I said that's totally doable and probably not hard at all to do, since computers that are inside a keyboard already exist. So here's me putting my money where my mouth is.
Relevant note: Since taking the video I've realized the Raspberry Pi is completely fine with a standard 5V, 2.5A phone charger. It's a bit below the specs but it's not exactly doing much here. So a standard powerbank is completely enough and it doesn't need the fancy charger that came with the PC to make loud noises :^)
