Behind the counter in a coffee shop I visited last week there was a whiteboard which read [1]:
Sunday debate:

Custard creams or chocolate bourbons
There were dozens of tally marks on the board and counts from a social media poll. The results were:
Custard creams: 212Bourbons: 171
I love both biscuits, so if there were a both option I would have voted as such; if I had to pick one, it would be custard creams, though. Otherwise, I might have said fig rolls, a biscuit I had for the first time in ages this week. Fig rolls may not have been an option, but they sure are tasty.

[1]: Given I saw the whiteboard on a week day, I assume the debate was going to run for a week, despite the title being "Sunday debate". In any case, any day is a good day to chat about biscuits.

Woohoo! Jasper and Florian added webmention support to their blogs!

I picked this up because it's this month's IndieWeb Book Club pick. Wouldn't have found it otherwise, and that's exactly why book clubs matter. If you've got a place on the internet, why don't you joi...

For the first time, I did a gauge swatch for my next project, although I don’t really see the point as I will be measuring it against my head as it goes.

@NASA.gov has lots of short Artemis videos on their YouTube channel (@NASA@YouTube.com), however this 10h10m video of the Artemis II lunar flyby appears to be the closest to a continuous long-form recording of the live stream during that period.https://youtu.be/z-j1uxBmis0 Af...

I made a public list of feeds for IndieWebCamp 2026 in Düsseldorf, taking place very soon on the weekend of April 25 and 26.

So far, I have put people on the list that are listed as participants on the Wiki page for the event:

• Björn
• capjamesg
• Myself
• jo
• Joschi
• Schepp
• Tantek
• Tilman
• Jeremy
• Zachary

So, if you like, you can use this list to see what everyone’s up to before, during, or after the event. You can just browse the list’s web page, or chuck its feed into any feed reader and follow along that way.

I’ll update the list whenever new people RSVP or show up at the event.

So now I am left wondering wether that error is something specific to the Solo theme, or whether it will appear here with the 2026 theme.

Updated Idno to 1.6.4, build 2026022801 and surprised that I had to re-upload most of the plugins and the Theme I use, though they are all still in the repo. Trying to decide whether my dislike of the 2026 theme is just because it is different. I should give it a little longer. #IndieWeb
