The new YouTube video player allows playing videos in full screen mode when launched from a PWA on iPad. No more opening an extra FeedCity tab in the browser just to watch the videos I bookmarked to watch during lunch break.

I love the storytelling work that the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York does. For example, the Frame of Mind podcast highlights short stories of people’s relationships with museums – around fifteen minutes long each. It is a great listen. Last year, I watched a video by...

New episode.

EU regulations for extra-virgin olive oil include tasting notes. An oil that has any of the forbidden flavours cannot be classified as extra virgin.

But modern, old-fashioned oils in Provence go out of their way to develop some — but not all — of the EU’s “defects”. These throwback oils rely on up-to-date equipment and the skill of the miller.

In this episode, the paradox of old-fashioned modern oil.

New episode: the paradox of old-fashioned modern olive oil.

Some olive oil millers in Provence go out of their way to develop flavours that the EU calls “defects”. These oils can't be called extra-virgin, but they sell anyway.

🎬 PG: Psycho Goreman

Movie poster for “PG: Psycho Goreman”.

Honestly, this was very entertaining. I was pretty tired, but this kept me awake, no problem. It's just so bizarre and funny. The daughter and her father are absolute comedy gold. And that policeman! The costumes are so good, too. I don't know, I had a great time and would most definitely watch it again.

👍 Recommended!

🎬 Edge of Honor

Movie poster for “Edge of Honor”.

Plot is all over the place and there's quite a few scenes that make little sense. But yeah, for a trash-movie night, certainly not the worst flick. "Wait, how did they lift those enormous logs and … ?" "WHO CARES, ACTION, AHHHH…!". The finale is like Home Alone but in the woods and pretty entertaining.
