I never listened to this album. But because it’s such a classic, I know pretty much every song on here. And I’m enjoying it!
And if the end lead riff of “Fairies Wear Boots” was not a major influence for Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls” I’ll eat my hat!

This was a slow movie and more like a psychological and/or social study than about the plot itself.
Relationships, feelings and emotions can be complex and the movie intelligently communicated this. And are so-called grown-ups really that for off in their behaviour from children?

🎬 Suspiria (2018)
Although this is not a remake, I think I enjoyed the “original” more.
This rendition certainly had a much better production and much better acting. And it wasn’t bad at all. And I very much enjoyed the Berlin set. But I found the side-plots somewhat irrelevant and the main story confusing. Or maybe it was just too late in the day, yesterday night.
So, it was a good movie, but I wasn’t 100% convinced.
🎧 Esoteric Malacology – Slugdge
Does this bring anything new to the table? I don’t think so. But it’s very well done. It has some fantastic guitar work, blast beats, and great vocals. Winner!

Four school teachers wanted to try a philosopher’s theory that humans generally have 0.05% too little blood alcohol. So they started drinking.
This is funny, has drama, and wonderful acting. Highly recommended!

Enjoying some good Swedish riff-rock. Can’t stop listening to that “El Monstro”-riff.
Oh FFS! Instagram now requires you to have an account to view anything on their website. You can no longer visit profiles of people or businesses let alone permalink pages.
I hope Instagram will revert this. Or everybody will just stop posting exclusively on that stupid platform (yeah, right!)!

I disagree. I found this to be a clever, funny and overall very entertaining story.

Another classic. For good reason.
Amazing set. Great atmosphere. Well done – and indeed gory – murder scenes. The end scene was great. Very much enjoyed the soundtrack. On the other hand, acting and dialogs were lacking. But that’s alright. I would recommend this, if one is into horror movies and hasn’t seen this, yet.
🎧 Solace – Jakob
Instrumental post rock from New Zealand. Very atmospheric. Great to work to (as a lot of instrumental albums). My current favourite from that album is “Everything All of the Time” – that drum beat is exactly my kind of groove.
🎬 On The Rocks
Good dialogs and good acting. But unsurprising and very conventional. Was ok.
🎬 Better Watch Out
Had its moments and good ideas. But ultimately I found this unconvincing and excessively cruel.

About the history of Polaroid. A lot of great info and anecdotes about instant photography. Nice animations included. An hour and fifteen minutes very well spent!
